After Care Advice
What to do after your treatment:

Drink plenty of water
Drinking water will help to rehydrate the body. This will also help to flush away toxins that are released during the treatment. This will help prevent soreness over the following days.

Stretch
Stretching will help improve the flexibility of the joints, keep joints mobilised, and maintain the ability of the muscles.

Use heat & ice
If you have particularly sore areas, use heat packs and then ice packs alternately. This can help to accelerate the healing and reduce any tenderness. Clients can benefit from having a hot bath to soothe muscles.

Avoid strenuous activity
Try to take it easy immediately after your treatment. This is not always possible, but I would advise it.

Avoid stimulants
Try to avoid stimulants such as alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes for at least 24 hours. These stimulants can increase dehydration, add toxins back into the body and prevent relaxation

Rest
Allow the body to heal and settle.

Wrap up warm
Massage has the potential to make you feel cold afterwards.
